De Stijl Art Movement is seen as an extension of Neo Plasticism art. This trend, which developed with the influence of the cubist approach, is the result of Piet Mondrian’s research between 1912 and 1917. The narrative language generally consists of right angle and straight line, vertical and horizontal line compositions. As the Doxa design team, while designing the Solid model, we took inspiration from Piet Mondrian and transformed de Stijl’s modern, interlocking geometric sections into office furniture. Solid’s creation of a perfect integrity, bringing together square and rectangular parts in this way emerged as a result.
